Advantages of
Force 12

* Cuts winds by up to 97% - A 100 mph wind becomes a 3mph breeze.

* Flexible wind abatement - Makes area behind screen a safe room.

* Exceeds large missile impact testing - Resists impacts that would go through a block wall.

* Decelerates objects when they strike the screen - Shock load is not immediately transferred to the building as with hard shutters.

* Easy deployment & storage - One person can put it up and folds to be stored in a small area.

* Less than half the cost of a roll down shutter - Maximum protection for minimum price.

* Patent pending "C" track for maximum attachment strength.

* Quick snap lock and release system - guaranteeing secure attachment and allowing fast and easy release and storage.

* Emergency exit system for immediate egress when required - complys with fire codes for public shelters.

* High technology fabrication methods for consistent product performance.

Two of the main causes for damage and destruction from tropical storms and hurricanes are flying debris and extreme windloads. Now there is a product unlike anything else you have seen that protects you from both heavy winds and flying debris - its name is Force 12.

Force 12 is a flexible high impact screen barrier system that is designed to resist wind pressures generated by hurricane force winds and withstand impacts from flying objects that would penetrate a block wall. Tested under the most rigorous hurricane standards in the country, Force 12 has exceeded all requirements. It has received Miami-Dade certification.

The unique material from which Force 12 is made allows diffussion of wind velocities by up to 97%. A 100 mph wind against the Force 12 wind barrier system becomes a 3 mph breeze inside the webbing. The flexible barrier actually repels flying debris unlike a rigid shutter system that transfers the shock load directly to the building to which it is attached.

Force 12 has been used to provide protection in diverse applications such as public shelters, home lanais, condominiums, firehouse bay doors and commercial buildings

SUMMARY OF TEST DATA

*STATIC AIR PRESSURE: Design load of +/-60 psf (equivelent of 155 mph). Test specimens taken to 90 psf with no resultant weakening of the Force 12 system.
* IMPACT TEST-LARGE MISSILE: No penetration or damage to specimens impacted with 9lb 2x4 traveling at 50 ft/sec.
* CYCLIC TEST(Fatigue Load): Design load of +/- 60 psf. No weakening of the Force 12 system.

Note: Maximum test requirement for Large Missile test is to impact a specimen once in the corner and once in the middle with the large missile. Force 12 was struck THREE times in the same location with no resulting damage or weakening of the specimen.
